Assembly Process Automation

Assembly Process Automation

Assembly Process Automation is a growing field. In today’s competitive marketplace manufacturers are often challenged to migrate from a manual to automated production environment. Typically, manufacturers need to meet ever increasing demands to maintain high performance productivity and to reduce manufacturing costs while  maintaining a stabile production process. As a result, manufacturers often seek to reduce labor cost, improve production capacity and increase labor productivity by automating their assembly processes where possible.

We work with our customers to develop and implement standards based solutions. Depending on the assembly complexity, we start by characterizing and refining the process. Then work with our customer to further customize and integrate a solution model based on a product design specification either provided by our client or developed by us for the client. In addition, we utilize Decision Matrices, FMEA (Failure Modes Effects Analysis), DMAIC (Design, Measure, Analyze, Implement, Control) and other analytical tools to assure a reliable assembly process. The final process implementation may be managed by robots or by an alternative pick and place system used to assemble the system of components. Our Assembly Process Automation program is designed meet the following conditions:

  • Stable product design
  • Meet High VolumeProduct Demand
  • Product intended for assembly process automation
  • Limited quantity of components in the assembly

ADB’s equipment assembly concepts often integrate with minimal downtime. Migrating from the manual assembly of a product family to the automated assembly process is systematic. We set up guidelines early to determine the process feasibility and capabilities. Factors that will influence the assembly process design include part or component variation, complexity, number of operations, location and process repeatability. Experience and expertise are essential features that offer comprehensive solutions customized to the demands and wishes of the client. ADB’s Assembly Process Automation offers expertise in the following areas:

  • Packaging
  • Positioning, Insertion & assembly
  • Vision systems
  • Greasing & oiling
  • Sorting
  • Gluing & dispensing
  • Weighing & dosing
  • Handling & transport
  • Identifying & marking
  • Component handling
  • Feeding technology
  • Functional tests
  • Laser hardening, drilling & cutting
  • Positioning, insertion & assembly
  • Separating technology
  • Welding & soldering

ADB is certain if you chose our assembly process automation equipment, you will have greater product quality, better products, plus increased productivity and profitability. Our equipment guarantees you low chances of risk and uncertainty, better working conditions, total process automation in production, transitioning change, knowing the known and assembly defined.

Testimonial / What Our Client Say

Andre and his team were professional, focused and sensitive to the timing issues associated with my project. Most importantly, after the project completed Andre and his team did not disappear. As I needed answers and follow up information, his team followed up in a timely and accurate manner. I look forward to using the services again and would recommend them highly.
