- Mobile iOS Application on to simulate Cardiac Simulations Development and Validation.
This system simulator created a virtual Heart pump. This system produces a detailed model of the heart to estimate the effects on flow when varying circulatory loop parameters as applied to the left and/or right ventricle. During systole, this simulator provides adjustable parameters of the Isovolumic contraction, artery pressure to open the interposing pulmonary valve and the ejection phase time. During Diastole, the simulator provides adjustable parameters to further control the Isovolumic relaxation until the tricuspid interposing valve open, the passive filling time from the Atrium to the Ventricle, diastasis until the atrium and ventricle pressure are matched and the atrial contraction thereby reproducing the cardiac cycle pressure volume loop. Other parameters this simulator is able to control include the heart rate, diastolic compliance, preload, afterload, contractility, Stroke Volume, stroke work, ejection fraction, Arterial Systolic and Diastolic Blood Pressures.
