Design: PC Board Design and Troubleshooting

  • A printed circuit board (PCB) mechanically supports and electrically connects electronic components via conductive pathways, tracks, and signal traces. These are etched from copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive substrate and are used in almost all commercially-produced electronic devices.
  • ADB Consulting is ready to assist you with your design by performing technician-level testing. Our capabilities in PCB board designing include competencies in multilayer designs and complex circuitry.
  • During the product development process, our PCB designers work closely with electrical engineers and mechanical engineers to ensure that the placement of parts meets circuit design requirements as well as mechanical architecture needs. We also work closely with manufacturers so that we can provide a PCB design that supports efficient assembly and testing with high yields during production. Our experience includes designing for many types of electronic devices, including those that are stationary and those that are portable.
  • In addition to typical power-on functional testing, we perform power-off diagnostics to test for component faults. We incorporate automated probing during the diagnostics to increase productivity and accuracy. We are also experienced enough to have developed methods to work around the troubleshooting of older equipment whose documentation package is no longer available.
