Packaging System Development Implementation And Validation


  • Product Label Printing System Implementation and Validation.
  • This project, using Flex Link conveyers for the transfer system, utilized a programmable automation controller (PAC) to integrate two tamper seal dispensing systems and a printer into a final packaging line. Each tamper seal dispenser included a vision system that monitored the seal’s positioning. The printer functioned as a direct print system that directly printed to cartons that varied in size. A third vision system verified the information printed to the cartons. The system was capable of processing up to 60 cartons per second.

  • Carton Erector and Material Packaging System.
  • The carton erector project integrated an air conveyer system, multiple centrifugal feed bowls, a pre-feeder system, a carton erector and a carton dispenser delivery system into one master system with a PAC seamlessly monitoring and coordinating loading of material into a carton. The Air conveyer fed material 30 feet to the pre-feeders. The pre-feeders fed the feed bowls. The feed bowls supplied materials to the dispensing system. The dispensing system coordinated activities with the carton erector to load material into each carton. In addition, we added a SQL database that bridged the system output with our customer’s quality system.

  • Process Development to Migrate outside production internally.
